Product vs. Workmanship Warranties
Many people ask what is a warranty? A warranty is a written guarantee, issued to a purchaser of a product by its manufacturer, promising to repair or replace it if necessary, within a specified period of time. In order for a warranty (i.e., shingle warranty) to be valid, there are two conditions that must be met;
The product must be installed according to the manufacturer’s requirements, and;
The product must be used within the specifications and guidelines for the product (i.e., the roof should not experience excessive foot traffic, there should not be solar panels installed on top of the shingle, etc.)

and their property. That’s why we not only offer our customers the industry’s top-of-the-line roofing
products (Owens Corning®) that come with Standard Product Warranty, we offer a ten (10) year
Workmanship warranty effective the date of project completion to help put your mind at ease.
So What does that mean?
Our Workmanship Warranty is a warranty of our craftmanship; it is a promise to address any roof issues you may have after we install a new roof on your property within the time period outlined in our contract (10 years). We are confident in our roof installations and the products that we use.
If for some reason, you were to encounter a problem with your roof during these ten years, you would simply contact Phillips Flawless Roofing and we would come to your property to inspect your concerns and provide you with solutions. All at NO EXTRA COST to you! We don't believe in what other companies call "Service Charges" or "Inspection Charges" for this service.
If there was a product malfunction, Phillips Flawless Roofing would contact the claims department at Owens Corning and work on your behalf to have the matter resolved as quickly as possible. During the TRU PROtection® period (Years 1 -10), Owens Corning covers the cost of both product and labour associated with any repairs. *
If the issue was a workmanship problem, Phillips Flawless Roofing would immediately address the issue and fix it in a timely manner. After all, we stand behind our commitment of giving you a Flawless Roof.
The best part, both your Workmanship Warranty with Phillips Flawless Roofing and Owens Corning are transferrable to one other person.
What happens after 10 years?
After 10 years, you enter the Prorated Period in which you start with 80% coverage of materials only, reduced by 2% annually until you reach the 25 years.
Our Signature Protection
At Phillips Flawless Roofing we work to make our clients roofing experience flawless and worry-free. That’s why we take before, during and after aerial-photos of your roofing job for your safe-keeping and protection. Once your project is completed, you will receive these photos on a USB along with your Registered Warranty. Its one step more in our Flawless Process.
